Hey gang! Just wanted to report in to say the build is still moving ahead. Been working a lot lately on scratch building gun doors, and doing a lot of fabrication work on the 'pit.

Oo, and just the other day I started to cut the front hood off.

Please take a look at my blog for all the latest stuffs

Matt is in the news. Looks like his batmobile hasn't progressed much but still cool.

Yeah, Matt got a little bit "hosed" by a shop that he entrusted to do work on the car.. It ended up sitting at the shop outside gathering rust with no progress

Curious.....why use a Caprice vs Crown Victoria or Buick leSabre? Any advantages to starting with a Caprice?

Others have used caprices.. so we take the experiences of others to apply to our own. So things like experiences with offset/backspacing of wheels, suspension etc.

Any frame can be used, it just is generally easier starting with a frame that has already been used before with success

Thanks. I can't imagine building it from scratch. Was it taken from an original or is it just "close enough"?
