Added a little paint.

And the movie bike.... next to finish the air pneumatics.

Underside of the knee support bar. The two clamps and centre bolt allow me to adjust the height of the knee supports.

WOW, that bike looks amazing, wish you all the best Spidey4fun, keep up the good work.

Just a question, how will it run, on Fuel (Petrol or Diesel), or Electricity?

I love the Tumbler

Atomic power like the 66!

Anyhoo, looking good spidey,

Some questions for you....

Will the battery pack get hot and if so how will you cool it?

Does the suspension action affect the steering given the steering is half mounted on the main chassis?

Cheers

Shano

The battery management system (BMS) controls the battery cells. It makes sure they aren't over charged and will sound an alarm if the voltage starts to get too low. The cells Im using a 3C rated and say they can do 10C for a brief period of time. Currntly I've a 20amp pack, so that's 60amps at 3C and 200amps at 10c. The Lifepo4 batteries need to be managed or they'll die pretty quickly, so with a decent BMS, i doubt there will be an issue with heat, but I suppose I'll soon find out.

As for the bump steer. I thought this might be an issue also. However, there doesn't appear to be any.

Hey Shano, Do you have a background in making bikes? Electric motorbikes?

I would like to add those titles to my resume but I can't. I am a qualified light vehicle and a heavy vehicle mechanic and I also do fabrication but not to the level you are displaying. More modifications type of fab work. Although I'm sure I could, but I need time to learn the computer programs as you have. I'm sure if I had blueprints I could do the fabrication side without too many dramas. Tool wise I am limited to oxygen acetylene, angle grinders and welders as my workshop doesn't have cnc or anything modern! Other than that I'm just generally curious about how things work and have been toying with the idea of an electric bike for a while.

I made them adjustable so they can be positioned correctly for the rider. They're held in place by an internal bolt.
