| Tim Tim Tim what is 20 more hours in the grand scheme of things, you will never achieve 100% accuracy with an attitude like that. Your young the skin on your finger tips will grow back .beside I think Apple is looking for a Computer tech software engineer to re tool their I pad division, you could get behind that movement by changing the name of your build to One Bat Apple and making that deck lid screen accurate . Those Guys at Apple would see this and move you in to Steve Jobs old spot toot sweet .

Thanks! I always feel it is the details that make the car special. A car can look great from 10 ft away, but can it look great when you are 1 ft away from it, and does it have interesting details up close that you never knew were there? To me the answer is that it needs to look great from 1 ft away! Beauty is in the details.

You're right!
The more I looked at them the more I could tell that the insides of the vents (undersides and corners) were not smooth and met the mesh at different angles at the bottom. You could see that they were rough fiberglass. Not even with close inspection, but by looking from different angles from the rear.
So today I did some more build-up inside the vents so that I can file/sand them down and get them baby smooth on the inside. Those top ones are going to be a biotch! They still won't be as thick as the hero car, but they will look REALLY close!
Once they are smoothed inside then I'll be satisfied. I think the original builders must have also noticed the same effect when the vent is recessed. Since it's a tall vent you can see the inside walls so they also must look nice

Tim why don't you take the next 3 months off and work on your car 1/2 the week and write a book the other part of the week.showing day to day progress you have made with pictures from start to finish.
The experiences the people you have met the knowledge you have gained the day to day accomplishments you have made the unique way you dealt with making working props out of every
Day items or tracking down items that were very specific to the 89 only to make it the most real fan made batmobile in the world with the love and support of your wife family and friends
And not to be happy with a replica of the 89 but an actual living breathing batmobile that even john Evans and Anton furst would be proud to call their own.
Who wouldn't want a step by step guide in building a Batmobile of this caliber ?
And don,t be afraid to switch gears from Batberry to Apple That( One Bat Apple )so much more catchier than Batberry. Look at Apples commercial they show people launching rockets and opening doors and making movies on walls but they don't show A batmobile cock pit opening the lights of a fully intergrated war machine,the car firing up turbine kicking on after burner engaged disc doors opening and closing gun doors with 30 cal's coming out and the sound of this car making ready to take flight and battle against evil doers like Doohee Kim
Oh and with Gotham coming out this fall what a great Tie in for an Apple Batmoble commercial there.

Not sure if I'll have the time to do a book.. maybe once the build nears completion I'll go back and pull it all together. Cool idea though!
Bike building might be something in the future.. but there's still a long road ahead on the BatBerry
