I thinks Zuns work but no disc is exposed when it opens. You also might ask him about his hood raising reminds me a bit of yours looks pretty safe and not real complicated to build but pretty efficient.

Yesterday I had a nice surprise in my mailbox when I got home from work. There was a box full of wheel bats

These were made out of solid resin by Ed Farrell from the BOTB. He generously offered to make me a set of these from molds pulled off of the actual Batmobile. Well now they have arrived and they are AWESOME!

Tim any way to have him cast them with 1/4 iinch of metal silloute with a bolt stud in the middle of the mold then pour his casting resin around it to make it more stable to mount with?

They are cool

I'm not sure if he can or not. I was planning on putting a 1/8" plate with a stud welded to it on the back. Then drill two holes into the resin and put two small lag bolts into it. Then chop their heads off and carefully weld the cut top of the lag bolt to the 1/8" backing plate.

But feel free to reach out to him on BOTB. His user name is efarrell4

They are still working away at it. Last I talked to them they were working on a less expensive way to cast/create sets of them based on the 3D printed master. The 3D printing is expensive to make individual sets of side mechanics. Like, really expensive!

I was able to get a start on the trunk vents this afternoon. Things got a bit rainy outside so I came in to keep dry. I'll have to wait for some drier weather to continue work on these.

Fiberglass work is really dusty and messy, so it's nice to be able to do the work out on the front yard where I don't have to clean up

After 9 1/2 years, Monday marked my last day at BlackBerry. It has been an incredible journey both personally and professionally. But I'm taking some time off to re-engergize and spend some time with my family.

Don't worry, the BatBerry continues on strong and proud
