Hey builders! my name is Mike and I'm going to attempt an 89 car, Looking at a 94 caprice classic this week to use as the donor. hoping it has the LT1 engine.
Shaggy, seems you know you way around the 3d world, 
I'm looking for 89 body files or specifically a file that is "sliced" and that I can print at 1:1 on paper. Like the the ribs of an airplane model. Spaced at 3" apart. With the first slice being the front nose edge. Also with a center spine file.
Need the center spine to go from the turbine housing to the center of the exhaust housing. Each slice to be 1/2" thick (for half inch plywood  )

It's because you're still relatively new to the forum. Once you get your post count up past a specific point more threads will be accessible 
ps I understand the frustration of trying to research specific information only to discover that you don't have the authorization to view said information. Just be patient, post regularly and it'll soon be available.

I hope the PM you sent me was about the Tumbler and not the 89, otherwise the info i PM'd you back is incorrect.
I will be happy to send you a free copy of the 89 ribs that I created for my '89, but you must understand that I dont care to go back and add/subtract/rework anything of the 3d model or its templates. They were a thorn in my side to create the first time and to go back and do it again....well....lets just say a hammer, some nails, and my eyes will be involved.
I'll send you a copy that will create a model that will look like my most recent 1/6 scale '89, from there, its your call where you wish to take it.
