I think we have a winner, or something very close...

Batmobile

Batmobile

It's a transponder, seen in the cockpit of the C-130 Hercules, in the Sepecat Jaguar fighter jet... and I believe the harrier, but don't quote me on that one.

There are a few minor differences. I think it's likely that the team received just the face plates and added their own buttons and switches to fill the holes that would have been there... every other detail, minus the counters and the dials match up.

Thats really cool. Now to try and find a C-130 laying around on the road maybe broke down.

What I did was made vector art for all of the panels based on photos and measurements of my dash. I posted all the files online if you want to download them and take them to a local engraver.

No problem!

I'll be working on the panel that goes behind the passenger's head and ones for the ceiling eventually too

Yeah, a C-130... or a Jaguar, or a Harrier.. perhaps a number of other aircraft. One could potentially find out the manufacturer and contact them to do a small group buy, or track some down in a surplus yard.

Tim, those files are exquisite. They'll come in handy for my studio scale model. Thank you kindly.

Just wanted to let you guys know I was able to find a photo of
A Harrier cockpit with the transponder installed. If you follow this link, look at the lower right hand side of the photo.
