Welcome Jim, good luck on your build and where are you located? There are not many UK builders here.
Tip: Try to read as much as possible before asking a question and share progress info on your build with PIC's

Blower?! That would be sweet but where could you put it?! you could always turbo charge it........or Jet propel it!!!

im in surrey
im going to make as much of it out of metal as possible so will be a bit heavier than some of the kits just working out plans for the custom built chassis and trying to locate as many parts as possible the plan is to make it as near to 100% screen accurate as possible

Good for you - another different style of building. Don't think anyone has tried to fabricate a metal body before. Any particular reason for the choice of material?
BTW: Full size Bat on UK roads
You need to see one up close to appreciate the size - this thing is huge. Like driving a single deck bus from the third last seat (No joke). You have already pulled out and are half way across the road, before you can see what is about to hit you
Good luck anyway. Keep us posted

as regards to why to build in metal we are going to build the larger panels in metal then sculpt and mould the detailed smaller parts luckily I co own a American car custom shop so have all the tools to work with metal and an endless supply of it to admitted it will be interesting on uk roads but is not that much larger than some of the yank cars and trucks ive built and own
