Hey darkknight,
Welcome to the forum.

couple of questions:
A. How much work are you going to do on the interior? (Like the stunt car, or like the movie car)
Most of the movie car interior shots were shot in a set car setup that could accommodate cameras and camera men. Will do as much movie correct interior as reality will allow.

B. Have you formed a plan yet for the doors/access?
Most likely gullwing doors.

C. Are you concerned about “whine” from the V-Drive? The reason I ask is because the stunt car’s V drive is extremely loud, and you can’t hardly even talk to another person inside. I have entertained the idea of going with a divorced transfer case to solve this. I’m no expert in V Drives, so it’s possible some are quieter than others. (I believe the ones made to handle a lot of power are going to have the larger size gears, and therefore the loudest).
V-drives can be sound shielded to cut down noise.

If you haven’t seen it yet, YouTube “Jay Leno’s Garage” as one of his shows features the actual Tumbler.
They drive it around as well. Pretty cool video to watch for inspiration.
Seen it.

There is also a nice hard cover book called “Batmobile, The Complete History” that I had picked up a while back. Some good pics and info in there as well.
Have it.

Good luck with the rest of your build, and I very much look forward to seeing more!! Thank you.
Thanks for the kind words. vertigo

Put in four hours, spent on aligning and welding installation of nose cone weapons pod.
What a beast, especially when built in heavy steel.

"The interior was an immobile studio set and not actually the interior of a street-capable version. The cockpit was over-sized to fit cameras for scenes filmed in the Tumbler interior."

Received Batman Begins trilogy related insignia and hub centers from China.
Takes around a month to receive items ordered from China on eBay.
Used a hub center to make horn button.
The insignia are cast in zinc with chrome plating.
