. Yep, gonna need a strong motor and suspension. But I think Vert is already planning on that.

Plus...……. It will be bulletproof!!

sly,
"I notice you said test fire cannons. Will they be live ammo, sim fire, or compressed air?"

Cannons will not be firing live (projectile) ammo.
Black powder blank ammo, maybe?

3000 psi compressed air high strength reservoir with dump valves a possibility.

When you say "sim fire" what does that mean to you?
What weapons simulated fire devices do you know about that are possibilities?

I plan to use sim fire guns on my DOJ build. They fire using gas and electronic ignitions systems. Many have used them on their '89 builds. Here's an example website. http://www.replicasandmodels.com/simfire.html

There are kits for the electronics that allow you to build your own gun, which is the way I will go. Also, for the defensive array I plan to use compressed air to fire silver confetti to simulate chaff. Should look cool in parades.

Came across this photo-image that depicts how the BatPod was stored in the Tumbler for emergency use.
This is the only detailed image I have seen on this subject.
Very revealing information.
