Welded the square tubing flush with the bottom of the frame. Then welded flat metal plates to the frame and tubing for added support.

And here is the same side but looking at the over kill welding from the outside of the frame. Added another plate that was welded to the frame and attached to the plate that was on the bottom of the frame and square tubing. By me going with a straight bar under the engine I figured it would make the mounts extremely solid. But the draw back is that if I need to remove the oil pan down the road I will ha e to undo the motor mounts and lift the engine slightly.

A buddy of mine builds rock crawlers and has crazy fabrication skills. He is going to make me spinners for my wheels. Im going to have the bat emblem thats like the original made into spinners but Im going to weight the bottom end of the bats so that when Im traveling down the road the bats wont be moving. Think that will be a cool touch

Me liking this thread! Those gauges in the first pic is nice eye candy! Dang! I just bought a set of Ferarri lights for my build the other day and still no body yet
Where in the world did you get all those dash items??? thats so awesome. After doing some research I have a list of items I need to get and trying to find out the correct dash gauges has been stumping me.
Following your build with high interest! I hope to start soon

I was lucky enough to get my guages from Big Wave Dave. Those were his spare parts he didnt use on his build. Without his help I would have had a plain ole dash. He is my hero.

Ok, Im back to the grind. I havent been doing much with the kids being out for summer. Been spending what little time I have off from work playing with them and going to my family property at the beach. With that being said, Im back in the bat saddle again. Prepare for the pics!
