Hi All,

I know I'm posting this in the build forum however it is 1989 related. I was contacted today and was asked if I knew anyone in the Greater Toronto Area who owns or has access to a 1989 Batmobile.

A Canadian recording artist is looking for one to appear on the red carpet at the 2013 Much Music Video Awards on live TV July 16th.

I know that there are some masterpieces under construction which is great, however the ask was for a drivable mostly completed machine.

PM me if you are interested and I will put you in contact with the requestor.

"whats that?"

Did you contact the Ontario Batmobile guy? He posted briefly on that thread. You could try emailing or PM'ing him.

Glenn's car made it down there for the show

It was kind of funny, I didn't know he was going to be down there that night and we were apparently both downtown around the same time with our cars. We could have had a pretty cool photo-op with the two cars beside each other

I saw his car a few months back at a show out by the airport,

it looks kinda rough but cool none the less, and the side mechanics well umm uhhh need some work bigtime, hurry Shaggy hurrry..... looks like 4 inch pvc painted silver. I didn't get a chance to talk to him because he was running around in a Batman outfit chasing some chick in a sorta catwomany type outfit miniskirt thingy. kinda funny, I'll see if i still have the video...
