Cool Are you going to be incorporating a drain system -a trough and some ducts, for instance- to expel water and moisture that will eventually find its way into the car through the center canopy guide?
I'm one step ahead of you.. the cockpit end of the rail is enclosed in a drainage system

Sill need to run my e-brake cable and I'll likely start on the actuator mount/mehcanism for the canopy

You know when you see those buttons that say 'do NOT press' and you're soooo tempted to press it? Yeah, that ejector (ie: E-brake lever) is giving me that exact vibe. How is the canopy moving on its' tracks?

Are you asking what will move the canopy? Or how do the wheels work?

I'm asking about how the canopy is functioning manually, does it slide forward and back smoothly with out binding?

Yup, it slides freely. There are a couple of binding spots that I'll have to deal with, but those should just be tweaks. All the gory details of how the sliders were built are covered on the blog
