Here are a few pix of the full build monkeemobile in our shop. as you can see I designed the fiberglass panels to fit over the existing body panels and they fit quite well. all the panels have been trimmed, fitted and set screwed to the original panels. they are now ready to be bonded on.

So did you hand sculpt the parts, or molded from another vehicle? If you hand scuplted them, what process did you use?

I bought a car with the kit installed on it about 2 years ago, that car had parts installed from the original molds of the # 2 car. They came from somewhere in california, I actually traded a 66 bat body kit for it. I shaped the body work and molded the entire car in panel sections. and they fit pretty well. The original car I molded was sold last december.

This is a build that I will definetly pay attention to. After I pull the body molds from Anthony's replica of THE CAR, I will need to use this exact method to mount the parts to the Continental Mark III. Thanks for posting this, Jim! -Matt

when you mold it just make the parting lines easy to seam together later. you should be able to bond the panels the same way as this car!! make sure on THE CAR that you get the inside door jamb area, it pretty thick and you dont want to have to make that section everytime. If you have questions give me a call 631 722 5555
