I was looking for one last year to modify. Could not believe it, wife brings me a gift that one of her friends was going to throw it out because her son lost the controller. Boy, did I get lucky!

Hey T it's been a loooong time since I've been on here, been busy with life's day to day routine. To answer your question the drive train is basically the same as any RC Car. There's a motor sideways with a small pinion gear on it. This goes into a gear box which is connected to the axel.
I'd love to show you but I'd have to tear the whole thing apart. sorry
Mike

Hey guys I know this is a pretty old thread but due to several requests on my YouTube channel from my first video, I made another short one which shows a little more detail of the front end with the wheels off and how the servos and linkage are set up.

hey FLMike,
Are RC cars ever built true to scale.
The ones that I've seen have always been skewed in dimensions.
Got any opinions on the Mattel Justice League RC batmobile.
Scale correctness, etc. vertigo
