So how many of you would be interested in a CLTC coffee table book that's basically a compilation of everything that has evern been posted here(mainly 1989 batmobile)?

Nothing's been settled but it's just an idea.

Price is kinda steep depending on the type of paper and number of pages.

I'm going with this site. It will be a long process to pretty much cram every little nuggest of photos and informations from 6 years of CLTC history.

Need at least 10 copies made in order to get some discounts to lower the costs.

Check out some of the demos to see what we can do with keaton batmobile

I'm in. I thought the 89 batmobile would make a wonderful read but I was kind of hoping that some one with connections to the WB Studio or Pinewood would do this. It would be nice to read and see pics from Antons and Burton  concept to Keith Shorts sculpt of the body to Terry snows as well as John Evans input. The real aircraft parts used? I think we know a lot of them  with the help of Jack and Kevin and MR A,but some of the panels would be cool to identify besides just calling them com panels. Those Side mechanics or as they are known by now as Teddington Hot air valves model 1537 serial 2010r is what the gold tag said as told to me by one of the Wb Shop maintenance guys, plus the build teams most memorable moments scrounging for parts out of aircraft junk yards and as Jacks photo clearly points out getting all those wires lines electronics Hydraulics all to work and work well, the sheer panic of the deadline for the movie. Did they use the 1/6 remote car? Did They sculpt another cowl so keatons bat ears would not get crushed by the canopy closing .I think they just took out keatons Seat and left the head rest if I remember correctly.  The Toys Ertl, Richmans, Toybizz batmobile AMT model  batmobile and the controversial rear deck lid design was it suppose to be on the real car ? Who added it and Why.  The real gas cap door and the two bus gas caps what are the buttons under them for? The button under the drivers side of the car is it to open canopy. What are the real exhaust tips? Also the on-star years who's idea was that? The guy that designed the huge banner that hung on WB building ,I believe Ryan Savas was his name  .Photos from the commercial.  cameos the 89 had in The loony tunes movie the diet coke commercials And I think McDonald s commercials  also super Dave's pics.   I asked David Year One if maybe he could make this book but he said he really only could focus on the clothing line.

heck just after reading all the inquiries from Nitro got me interested.   Lets face it this car is both a mystery in parts, and(i believe it was Anton said) completely timeless.

Simply a work of art.   I'd be interested in a good read on it with very special "unknown" facts about the car.  High quality images would be nice as well.

All above and some other ideas of mine will be included.

In next couple of weeks I'll be contacting certain members for quotes and build photos to be included in the book. Also I will post previews and get feedbacks and give chance for people to make suggestions or changes.

I know we've had plenty of good ideas but were too lazy to ever finish but this will be done for sure before end of next year

And the book will be only sold within members only and will not be publicably available since I'd like to include as many pics and many hard found pictures. I'm hoping for 2/3 of the contents to be about 1989 batmobile and 1/3 with some light trivial and miscelaneous stuff from the forum.
