I had a problem lifting up my hood on my 89, really no place to put your hands when you attach the bonnet latches and disc doors, If you have a tilt front end. The disc doors that come with any kit are thin fiberglass that you can reenforce with metal but still not made to be pulled on. The Pro staff at Wayne industries fixed this problem buy making aluminum ones for me, along with A really beautiful set of speaker doors and steel gun doors with (real) vents for the doors. My fiberglass gun doors that came with the kit were a little warped but easily staighted with reenforced metal but during a cold snap when temps got below 32 degrees they would lift in the front like a pair of elf shoes. Now if your not using them and just screw them down to the body I think they would be fine but if you have them functioning I think the steel ones will work much better.Wayne Industries also made me this groovy Batmobile key chain and bat symbol. I just wanted to say thanks Wayne Industries and I believe these products will be available to the public soon if anyone is interested.

Wayne your stuff looks top notch and you seem to have items for every budget. One great thing about your stuff that I was discussing with a friend, is the more metal either steel or aluminum the more it makes this kit car not feel like a kit but a real working car not some cheesy body put on a frame to imitate a movie car but a real working driving breathing movie masterpiece of a car. Thanks Wayne tech and also thanks Jack for making our dreams a reality. If you don't know Jack is the one that makes true to life turbines, Exhaust tips and Afterburners for the 89.
