Hey everyone,
I have a project that I'd like to start sometime in the future that will convert an existing Tumbler batmobile from Batman Begins / The Dark Knight into a working radio controlled car. I think I've worked out how the front tires will actually turn instead of having the car with a swivel wheel hidden under the chassis.
The trouble is, what scale do you think the toy is? here's a pic...
It's larger than the die cast 1:18 Hot Wheels, so maybe it's closer to 1:10 scale?
It is my hope that students will not take their obedient place in society by becoming successful cogs in the wheel.

*slaps forehead*
I have no idea what a wheel base is, but here are some measurements I just took;
measurement between two front wheels; 2.5 inches
measurement from front wheel to rear wheel; 10.5 inches
does that help?

it appears your looking closer to the 1/17 or 1/17.5 scale area. Here's how i got the scale. If the original tumbler is 15' foot 4", in inches that is 184" You take the size of your model from tip to tip, say 10.5, and simply divide 184" by 10.5", it gives you a sum of 17.5238... so 1/17.5

I don't really keep myself updated with the toys bit but I was once told there are a few RC versions of the Tumbler but I didn't follow up because I saw one and didn't bother to look at it a second time! I know the other model Tumbler I wanted is the 1/18 Hotwheels but they are elusive! H
