Ya ...I'm not to sure what happened, and that is my main piece of equipment ...I'm woundering if BWD might know or one of his welder fabricaters...I'm trying to do other things but it allways comes back to welding the stuff together/on.

Alao I cant just take it down to a shop because everyone around here specialise in this or that.

I talked to a friend about your welder and he said if you can pull some wire by hand and still strike an arc than it may just be the feed motor or the wiring for it. If you can't strike an arc than it's more serious.

Went out today and started to mess around with the welder ...checked the trigger, and the motor, started to get mad and decided to take the whole board out and I found a bad connection on the back of the relay (it must have been replaced by the previous owner) so I pulled out the soldergun and fixed it , put it all back together and tested...wow..it works better than it did before...when I start to weld I feel and hear this thing kicking in and throwing out some current...so if it is nice tomorrow then I'm going to ROCK & ROLL

will be posting pics. tomorrow

T-man, glad you got it going again, those darn welders! Started cleaning and taking the kart apart, noticed my kart as a double sprocket like yours. Question, what is it for?

well companys do that for a lot of reasons (Safty primarily) and alot of times its more cost effective to use two smaller set ups then one large one... plus the size of motor is a factor also...there is a lot of reasons to use two...also it looks more cool.

that sentup looks mean, is that #420 chain, it should say some place on the links, what size of motor??

OK this is what I did today.... I made some brackets out of some 2"x1/4" flat stock to be placed on the mid-section then welded.

then worked on the ones that went on the rear.

Then worked on the front spindles...and welded

DONE for today.....I'm tired ...need a shot of Captain
