Why you only building a 6 foot tall one? The ceilings in your shop should be atleast 8 foot so in my mind anything below 7' 11.5" is just not enough. You stopped pushing the limits?
Shop? Shop?! I got a shop? damn why doesn't anyone tell me these things! I thought I was building this stuff in my house. gah! I'm making it that size because Its a christmas gift for my father-n-law and space in his house is limited.

haha nice. My son likes to watch me shave, he tries to shave with me sometimes for fun. We gotta little "batman shaver kit" so he uses that while I shave.

Very funny T-man in a good way. You and Shaggy have boys to look up to you. I have two girls and boy...there something that doesn't look right on daddy they sure tell me! Now for the forum CLTC, the site is awesome! But every time I mention the name to somebody they give me this look that I'm going to show them a girlie site. After watching T-man's video I guess the site is rated "R"

Hey T-man I would like to take a shot at your question. By adding a second caliper on the first master cylinder you will have a reduction of 50% braking power. The reason is the master brake cylinder has a certain capacity lets say 40cc. the disc caliper has a capacity say 40cc. By adding two brake calipers volume is now 80cc the master cylinder can only hope to compress the calipers up to 40cc. A very simple way to increase braking power on a vehicle is to upgrade to a larger master brake cylinder. Fieros upgrade braking by using Chevy Blazer master brake cylinders. Hooking up to a bleeder valve is not recommended since the valve is critical for removing air out of the braking system. A better way is to hard line the main line to a t-block then run to each caliper. using rigid tubing will increase the braking over the flex tubing that came with the kit. The reason being is hard tubing will not deflect. Rubber tubing will deflect the most as the tubing actually swells under pressure. The braided is better because the steel braided over the rubber tubing restricts the swelling, but not as good as rigid tubing. If you were to use a small car master cylinder the braking would be incredible. You could run four calipers. Most of the braking on a vehicle is on the front brakes. Since most go-carts have mostly rear brakes you get more skidding. Which is cool too. The disc could be easily adapted by fabricating a mounting plate then welding it directly to the axle then bolting the disc onto it. The tough part is mounting the brake caliper for maximum contact. Typically front calipers are mounted in front of the axle and rear calipers are behind the rear center of the axle.Sorry I have no short answers.Lol...dave

hey Dave thanks for the great info. I'm sure I'll have to build a hub for it, but I dont want to weld it directly to the axle so I'll have to build it with sepreat parts and weld them together. creat some type of key way. Oh ya, also one more thing I forgot to mention. These ebay guys that I got these from are sponsoring me, at least with the brakes. I contacted them and asked them if they would be interested and they said yes. I told them all what I would do for them in the videos and all I ask is to get them at their cost + s/h ... they agread. so I bought 3 sets. So instead of paying $60 x 3 = $180.00 I only payed $90 for all three set-ups. I told them that I would mention them in 1 or 2 videos and put links in the description, but I think I'll through in some extra and put the video on my blog and soon my site, also instead of just one or two videos I'll mention them in every video/build where I'm useing the brakes. Do you guys have any ideas on things I could offer that might get others to be interested in some type of sponsorship?
