ha.. yep those are off the front of the T-kart ..well I have it in mind to initially make 4 primary karts the T, the A, and two C karts. standing for T=Tully, A=Alycia, C=Cristal, and C-Cody..... T-mans T.A.C.C. Karts or maby I should call it the Robin Rod Got the R&P in today. The rods are not equil length so I'll have to improvise... the length is 38" and I need it to be about 45 1/2 i think, so they'll have to be cut and lengthend. the steering rod come withit ...If this proves to be better then the set-up I have (I think it will ) then theres 4 pages removed from the plans or leave them and let people make there own choice.
I got realy board one day so I built this ... Its a matter displacement canon that utilizes co-fazed sub-space field harmonics to create a fixed zero point inversion ...well thats what its supposed to be. but all the glue is starting to give way.

We had the county fair here so we've been busy with the kids but I did find time to do this.. welded and painted the spindles.. \

then I needed to change the extentions that connects to the spindle and arm rod, well I could find left over steel but not the RH or LH nuts for the ends..so I had to cut and weld...

so once I had that all adjusted right I went for the R&P and cut..

I'll have to wait till monday to go get the steel to extend the R&P.

this is what I have done so far. I went down and got some DOM tubing 5/8 to be used for the extensions on the R&P, cut them to 6 inches for both sides. Then took off both sides of paneling of the kart and took out the first stuff.

Then connected the ends of the R&P, placed the midle of the R&P, slid the DOM on and centered everything. (if you look close you can see my marks I made with a marker on the extensions of the R&P) then welded.

then started to build the mount for the R&P.

then put it all together....well almost I have to do the steering shaft.

Wow, better steering! Hey T-man forgot to ask you, how is the suspension in the front now with the panels on when your driving it?

terry, Im sure hopeing the steering works better...The suspention is the same with or without the panels, when I put the stand offs on I made sure that each section of panels were associated with a differant section of the frame .. for example the stand-offs and panel on an arm is one unit so as the arm flexes up and down so does the paneling, the front arm panels are conected to the arm, second / panel 2 is conected to the suspention rap-a-round, and the third is conected to the frame.
