Hi brcewane, the full scale tumbler is coming out great! I wanted to ask you, what type of cardboard are you using. I'm actually not using cardboard.. I am using 1/4" MDF

I was able to get the main shape of the front panel completed on the passenger side this afternoon. The corrections in the templates worked out pretty good. Hopefully I'll be able to get the drivers side done on Sunday morning.

I was also able to make sure I tucked the front panels inside the ones behind like seen below. The angle the photo is taken from makes the hole seem bigger. Plus I still have build up the thickness of the walls like at the bottom of the opening

Shaggy was right.. I was wrong There is an angle piece in there.. it is really hard to see on any of the pictures and it isn't on the drivers side of the tumbler.. but it is there. So I have some corrections to do
As you can see the drivers side does not have this angle.. this thing sure is an interesting puzzle. Must not have been able to do that angle there because of the access panel.

Did some more adjustments to the front panel today and I think I have it the way I want it. So I thought I would try and do some of the panels around the side window to see how they would all fit together. Since I made some adjustments on the panels below the window, some adjustments to the templates needed to be made. I'm still not 100% satisfied with them yet, but I am getting there.

MDF ... great idea .... less expensive than urethane foam, here in Alberta 1 inch rigid foam is $97 for a 4X8 sheet, so you will be making fiberglass panels.

Hey GREAT work and don't worry you are not the first Tumbler Replicater to miss that angle. Even Bob doesn't have it on his and you know how nice it is.
It's like a diamond, every time you look at it from a different angle you notice something you never noticed before.
The main thing is to just have fun building it. I had a great time just trying to figure it out and that was before Shaggy's awesome designs.
