Yup... hopefully my 89 has a much happier ending
The tumbler scratch build is just insanely more work than the 89... and I wanted to build the 89 all along.
I did manage to find a home for one of the tumbler gas caps

That's the fiberglass sub enclosure that I made
My daughter loves listening to Alvin and the Chipmunks on those subwoofers!!

Yeah, I would have liked to see this one finished as well
Maybe if I ever end up having the space for it, I'll spark up the build again after I finish the 89. I've learned lots from the process and would do things differently on the Tumber build compared to how I initially started.

Hey brcewane, Read most everything you wrote about your Tumbler experiences. Sorry you're out of building a Tumbler. I have started the physical building of a Tumbler and have started looking for the lights. I like the ones you chose. I found a set of two on Ebay for 39.99 + 8.80 shipping. If you still have the lights you bought for the Tumbler, and not planning to restart your Tumbler build in the future, and would be interested in selling them, I would be interested in buying them. If not do you know anywhere still selling them? virtigo
