Hi guys, thanks for the comments. I am going to paint the extensions and rims today. My friend made it out of two metal plates and welded on a big pipe were you can stick your hand and tool in it. Amazing!!

Hey 4reals, that looks pretty cool by the pool........If I could make a couple humble suggestions.....The reason those extentions are not the best for a street vehicle is that the outside wheel with the extention put a lot of stress on the lug bolts during a turn, possible sheering off the lug bolt and cause the vehicle to careen out of control. On your lighter buggy you might consider installing the first wheel and tighting the lug nuts down then adding the extension and outside wheel. In the event of the outside wheel breaking loose the inside wheel would still be on. Also you might consider lowering the air pressure in the outside wheel to lower the stress to the lug bolts during turning. Can't wait to see the body panels and how you are going to reverse the front wheels.....hehehhe.....Just kidding...Great Job.......BWD

Dave, I did a test run and had no problem! But I do want to play it safe. I am trying to understand the first part of the question. When you mean tighten the lug nuts on the first wheel, are you talking about extending the bolts on the hub and tighting the first wheel. Then on the same bolts put a second set of lug nuts to tighten the extension on the first wheel! Please explain. Thank you, Terry
