Hey Terry, i am loving what im seeing with your build. I cant wait to see a mock up of the body real soon! Hey i have an inquiry for you. I know your on a tight budget (as am I at this moment) but i had a question/suggestion for you. i noticed your front suspension has a 4 bar hook up to the frame, what if you fabricated a plate that bolted directly where those 4 bars connect to your frame, drill a hole in it, run a shaft thru it and weld an arm to it, somewhat as the original tumbler had, then you could have somewhat the same set up as the original Tumbler did. Giving it even more of that look and feel. And the great thing about using the original frame's bracketry, is ever you feel that your going over budget, simply stop, and mount the factory suspension back in place, therefore you'll never be at "a point of no return" in your quest for tumbler front suspension. Just an idea/suggestion for ya!

Shaggy, You mean to tell me that I can almost have the front end like the tumbler! Wow, that sounds great!! Problem; I read what you said, but I don't understand. Sometimes I have this problem. I am sorry. But pictures I can understand! Can you draw me the idea your talking about? Thank you, Terry

of course, it will be braced more than what i show, but basically it bolts up in the 4 points that your frame has, tight and true, has a shaft run thru it, and a set of arms going down to the wheels. Tho the suspension wont be independant, it will be simple, and cost efficient.

First of all I want to thank Shaggy for all the help he has done for me. Looking at the front in you made, is amazing! This would go out of my budget and I have a dead line to meet. Maybe someday I will do that tumbler front in steering. Ok, I need your advice Shaggy, Conrad, T-man, BWD,or anybody else. Heres some pics on back tires. Wanting to know if the rear tires are to wide or the rear is to wide. P.S., Doo Hee I do like that pic you posted on Conrad's forum!
