In dealing with the re-creation of the Tumbler I’m assembling a sort of miscellaneous parts list. With all the information presented on the various topic forums, parts and specs are spaced out all over the place. The intention of this forum is to collect all this info and present it here. Even though most of the Tumbler is custom made, a great deal of these parts are outsourced. This is a list that I will be updating that includes those parts and/or an equal equivalent. Some are of the obvious nature and some only possible through hi-res pictures. I welcome anyone with knowledge to help this list grow and assemble this parts list. Please PM me with any info on parts.

Trying to hunt down these. I'm not sure if their pneumatic or hydraulic, but with their speed and ease of the system I'm 95% pneumatic. Can anyone find these?

Those are double acting air cylinders, they are available from any industrial supply. (Granger, MSC, etc..)

| Here's your Fox Shock.. 
Again not sure on the travel. I found the best way to get the name of parts is the grab a picture and just email it to everyone in the industry. I did this recently to a lot of shock businesses get the fox shock brand. Brad.

Sent out a bunch of emails with the picture you posted.... think I found the brand. What you think? I like the idea of this thread. Should be interesting to see how many people contribute. As they say... many hands make light work!! Anyone know what these are? They look to be hinges basically... but what brand... and where to get them from. The movement of the fins seems to be created from pneumatics inside the shell.

| Hey Spidey good work. I totally agree with you on the intention of this thread and so many people’s different mindsets really do help the process. That picture does look pretty close but the end thread is to long and I believe there are only two holes on it. I have to give a shout out to Shaggy for finding that amazing picture of the sticker in the Tumbler window. That really got some solid specs and brand names. It also says that I was wrong and that all the flaps are actually hydraulic rather then pneumatic, wow. I am though 99% sure that the flaps do not move from the gold mounts as you pictured Spidey. I have seen other pictures where a connecting cylinder rod connects in the middle of the flap to make it pivot. The gold mounts act just as a hinge and that’s it. I’m leaning towards custom work on those, probably milled out of aluminum. I am now going to update the list, keep on the good work!

| Yeah, ATOlink has my vote, the gold units just act as a "fancy hinge". there are other pictures where you can clearly see the rod (or rods in series, whichever you prefer) that pivot all 6 flaps together. But i do think you hit the nail on the head with the cylinder find Spidey  .
