If you look closer the middle or so of my build here, you will see where i shared Orthographs of my Tumbler. They are from my 3d model, and my model was built off pictures of the actual car. So in my humble opinion, they are more accurate than the blueprints available elsewhere. Also if you search for the topic "tumbler parts list" that ATOlink started, i found a picture of the dimensions of the car. It states that our measurements arent correct, that its actually bigger than we thought, by a few inches.
And, as promised in my email, when you gain access to the members only area, which will be the forum moderators call, i assure you i will share any information that i have with you to further progress your build, 3d models, templates, measurements, anything that could be of use.
....Until then

So i finally got the passenger side of the Tumbler together, and i have started putting putting in some of the glass. I have just a few small parts left to install and the entire body will be finished, then its tires and mechanical details.
I forgot to tape on the front nose for this picture, once all the glass is installed and the final paint job is applied, the nose will be permanantly attatched.

but i did put it on for this shot

you can tell what side was painted in what weather, the driver side was painted during cold weather, where the passenger side was painted in warm weather, sure makes a difference.

here is a front view

Your 1/6 scale is looking great! Thanks for info. The pics on the panels will help my idea. Because of working and doing birthday parties on the side, it seems I do not have the spare time to put a full time in building. Thats what happen on my first build. What I like about you and Conrad, your builds are original.

Hey Bat4reals, thank you very much for your kind words. I can tell you, i was in awe when i got that thing painted Saturday night, i sat there for hours just staring at it, thinking how awesome its gonna be when i start on the go-cart version. My original plan was to go a "perfect" half scale, 22" rear tires, etc. But now im thinking i wanna make it about 2 foot longer/taller/wider just so Eric can grow into it. So he can enjoy his Batmobile from age 4, to age 14. And since im sure he will take after me when i was growing up, he's gonna be much taller than your average kid for his age, i just know it. Oh and trust me, you keep a good rep here on CLTC, and the Administrators give you member's access. I will do my best to assist with your go-cart build. it would be nice tho to see you start yourself up a build log on it tho

The model you made shaggy looks so real. I'm trying to build a 1:20 model for now, but im having trouble with the shaping of body around the hind wheels. So far all i have is a frame with right angle "holes" left empty. I cant wait to see more of your pictures before put the wheels on.

Hey Drew, thanks for the kind comment, i would love to see a picture or two of your progress so far. If you've posted the picture's elsewhere on this site, i'm sorry i just havent ran accross them just yet, im a daily visitor, so yeah. I have to build up the side intakes and the afterburner from scratch, that should take care of the final large body parts, then its all small detail from there. Since this is nothing more than a static display, im not yet sure how far in detail i plan on going, and by that i mean i may stop with just a body and tires, or i may go a step further and build a full chassis like the original to fill up the inside of the car. I dont yet know . Thanks for viewing!

If you plan on documenting your build here, you can go to build or other build logs, perhaps other build logs (honestly thats where this one should be in my opinion, because im not building an actual batmobile) But when you go to the other build logs, there will be a tab that says "new topic" click it, it will ask you some questions, just fill in the blanks and your on your way!
