Conrad, im thinking about moving to Denver, im in the process of putting my '72 Camaro back together so i will have myself a "new" vehicle that i know will be safe to drive the 1,300 odd miles to get there and back. My plan is to get the car running, put a few 1,000 miles on it here, then plan a trip, stay there a week, see the town, discuss things, look into homes, and jobs, payrates, all that jazz, come back to AL, and the wife and I will make a decision from there.
I feel im about 10 months to a year of hard weekend's work to put that car back together, my wife is pouring her spare cash into it as well to get it back on the road. I promised her if we get it back up and running she can drive it back and forth to work all she wants.

Sounds like a plan my man. Quite the change of environment too. I wish the best and hope it goes well for you and the family. I'm hoping to be off this cash sucking island in 3 to 4 years. I yearn for property and trails down in NC where i can kick up some dirt and dust. The wife enjoys the motor sports too but dreams of kiking up some dirt on a horse too. I have a great job but the property tax up here is unbearable among other costs of living. I feel like with the IT knoweldege I'd do good in most places in this technological country. It's just going to me a long time to save and plan to move. Again good luck and try not to beat on the camaro...I know i would! Sorry, I just saw the E-Trade baby on a cell phone and lost it. So funny... See ya

So i decided my fiberglass fiasco wasnt going to get me down, i reprinted the templates and started all over. I figured i wouldnt worry about making the small 1/6 scale car out of fiberglass or anything sturdy anymore since its gonna be nothing more than a static display. Nothing more than Tabloid Cardstock and elmers glue here The nose, front fork and roof are just flopped on their, the rest are all glued into place. so far my measurements are somewhere in teh area of little over 2 foot long, 10" tall and a little over a foot wide. Will have more pictures soon!

Maybe Sunday i can try to finish this thing on up. then just work on tires.

so i have the entire passenger side put together, and i told myself at the beginning of this paper build that i WASNT goin to pant anything until i got it completely put together, but temptation once again got the best of me.
Why, yes Bruce, it DOES come in black.

I haven't started my endeavor of building the tumbler, yet. I am working on what scale i can afford and how i am going to attempt it. Right now, I am working on what the dimensions are going to be and what materials I am going to use. From what i have seen online and on this forum, I have a pretty good idea of what i am going to do. I just wish i was able to find some kind of blueprints or plans so i can get a better idea.
