i think that is hilarious! ^

Yeah i'm using wood because fiberglass is too stinky, and sticky for what im needing for now. The wood is a decently smooth surface, and if there is any warpage, there is so many angles, it would be hard to spot. good enough for me.

After i get done cutting out every peice, and assembling each panel, i'll go back, measure each side, make sure each side mirrors one another, THEN start cleaning up the cuts and angles until its as smooth as Dave's Rumbler panels.

From there....i really dont know what im gonna do. It all depends on how i feel at the time.

Hi Shaggy... Something that would help you with getting it smooth would be to use 1/4" MDF instead of plywood.

Just a thought... keep up the good work

Shaggy,

You can skim the plywood with Bondo to make it smooth.

My thoughts exactly. that will be done when i clean up the angles. And the cleaning will happen after i mirror the sides. and that will happen after i build it.

....and that will happen after i stop typing.

...and.....oh forget it.

Hey guys, just letting you know i'm still working hard at this build, its slow right now during the week, which sadly is 5 days, and hopefully speedy on the weekend.....which sadly, is 2 days. So shameful.

I started my new job Monday, and you would not believe the amount of work goes into being a customer service agent. I never knew there would be more to answering a phone and saying:

"Thank you for calling (insert), my name is Jason, how may i assist you today?" "Is there anything else i can assist you with today?" "Well you have yourself a wonderful day, buh bye now" ........

......yeah. So i come home really tired each day from all the information being slammed into my head. But so far i think i'm gonna enjoy my job.

Eric has realized that its a Tumbler that i'm building and almost everyday asks about his "ba'man car?" and points at the finished parts. I'm still trying to get my trailer sold to generate some income, hopefully that will get sold by monday, i've had SEVERAL inquiries. Wish me luck.

Website update looks great by the way!

Hey Shaggy, I know what you mean about the so little time. I'll bet Eric is really excited about his Tumbler. I wanted to say earlier you might consider wood putty and then sand the wood so you get good adhesion of the putty to the wood. I'm not sure if Bondo would be better.....Just a thought....BWD
