Same here, family comes first. The best of luck with you and your family Shaggy. Even if you are gone a while, we won't forget you. I am hoping to have my tumbler built some what for you to look at when you get back. By the way, if you can build the full scale, go for it! For me someday. Your friend always, Terry

Considering the size your already at it wouldnt cost much more to go full size.

Just to show this project is still in the works (as is all my stuff) i started refining my model, fixing some error to make it more accurate, and adding small details. The small details were really fun by the way.

So in a basic run down, im thickening the panels to give them more of a meaty look, fixed the upper intakes size, and anywhere i can find a small nut or screw, i'm putting it on for details sake. more to come

Thanks Terry, last night i decided i wasnt happy with the front tires, so i took the time and built my own set of tires, they arent 100% accurate, but they are closer than before

and drew up some gas caps. I'm thinking about adding little allen head inserts to the bolts for better detail.

I also redid the panel that sweeps up to the upper intake from scratch, resized the lower intake, resized the upper intake, started on the holders for the flaps, and added the little....sharpy...thingy...part that goes under the side window.

I decided to go ahead and post this, even tho it isnt completely done. I'm correcting some errors on the front nose as well. Basically a redesign there too. All in the name of making it more screen-accurate.

Hey Conrad, i gotta tell ya, those tires were NOT easy. I started off with a cylinder, hallow with no ends, then drew one set of treads (the squares) then cut those squares into 4's, then offset drilled a circle in each one of them. Replicate that one tread 4 times, to make a tread of 5, then create the side walls with one set of treads on each, with no holes, or divided squares, twist it to give it a slanted look, smooth the side walls, and connect all 3 separate pieces to create one tire.

I meant to post these yesterday, i took two hours after midnight Saturday morning and redrew a large section of the roof. Now it looks more like the real Tumbler. More curvy

First heres the old roof

And the new,

I fixed these sides, added more "depth" to them.

Batmobile

Reworked the angles on the back side. I'm still not finished back here, still gotta install exhaust outlets, and add angles on the bottom section.

compared to the old roof

And just an overall shot

i took some time Friday evening and did some more work. I added the front fork, still not done in that area.

Batmobile

Some detail work on the spring connections.

Batmobile

I also found that my front panel was a tad off. So im adjusting it to make up for the difference. The red represents where the panel was, to where i moved it in to.
