You are becoming quite the fiberglass expert, Jack! Are you going to make a whole car, or just the dash?

Well the "plan" is to YES, build a new KR4000.  However never count those chickens before they hatch.  I have a lot of ideas and so does Jay about the KR4000.  One that this one would be BLACK, have black and tan interior, even use PMD seats like the original KITT.  Add headlight, taillights, and sidemarkers to make it more usable.  Use the 15" bowling ball hubcap wheels or other cool Black wheels.  Also the Dash would be upgraded to actually have LCD screens instead of just the special effects blue screens.  Lots of idea....

KR4000 take 2!!

That would be neat! Also, that might make a fun daily driver car!

Jack, I'm planning on building a custom dash, as well as door panels for my '72 camaro to give it a more up-to-date look, its going to be made entirely out of fiberglass, with cloth and leather layed over.  Do you by chance have some more in-progress pictures of you making this dash so i can have a better lead as to where i should start my dash?

Sweet!  KIFT as he shoulda been!  Does Jay still have the molds for it or are you guys gonna have to pull new ones off an existing car, like the Taz car or the one that was recently restored?  Got pics of them (molds) if they do exist?  Call me weird, I like shots of molds.

Here's an update.

Jay came to town and picked up his KITT SPM...  It was sad to see it go, however Jay didn't come empty handed....  Anyone have a Dodge Stealth...?
