ok Chilebean has put a good interest in me to learn 3d design, so i decided i would start simple, and work with something that had alot of flat panels.   I'm also free handing this with no guides, so it might turn out crappy, i dont know yet.

CHECK THIS OUT!  I was searching for pre-made engines for the Tumbler, and i stumbled accross someone's 3D '89, the afterburner is totally different from anything i have seen

Boy my editing skills sucked that time.  I pulled the canopy up, and the trunk up as well so you can see all the inner'ds that they put into it.  Its a free model you can get off of Google SketchUp.

Set fire to it and watch it BURN!!!!!

wait.....no....no fire.

I've decided since i am not looking to up the book value on the car, just the personal value for me, i think i'm going to just fiberglass the hole's in the floor, as well as the area's on the roof where the vinyl top ate thru the metal.  Then coat it all down with a Sealer Primer.   I got myself a credit card finally with a $300 dollar limit (i didnt want something with a high limit, i can only pay but so much) so now that i have that in my grasp, i can buy an entire engine rebuild kit at once, and build it all back up at once, rather than buying just parts of it, and staring at it until i get everything together, and THEN building the engine.   Hopefully this way i can pull it apart, and put it back together, in one weekend, keeping it out of the weather that much longer.

So basically, fiberglass work is ahead.  This is one experience i hope to learn alot from.

Dude thats a lot of work you're doing there. Fair play to ya boy. It's also excellent that your wife can rebuild an engine . When you put up the pics of the camero, the 1st thing i said to myself was "nice gear shift" and then red that your friend broke it. Dammit. It's amazing how much passion someone will pump into a car because of personal value. I couldn't really grasp if you were building a full testa rossa or going for the dash off one for your camero. Either way, cool project. I've a few in the pipeline at the moment but can't get to them cos i fell off a poxy ladder and realised i wasn't made of bubble wrap. Anyway i love the updates and look forward to more. Best of luck to the missus with the new arrival.

Thanks Dee, its always great to hear a kind word from you! .   Yeah i plan on fully scratch building a brand new interior in the Camaro.   Everyone kept asking me "why dont you just buy one out of a Dodge Viper and stick it in it?"

The two problems with that is that i dont have that kind of money, and the dimensions of a Dodge Viper dont match that of my Camaro.

A small update, i found out this past weekend that my mother decided not to tell my dad that we are two payments behind on our land morgage, the very same land that ALL my car projects are sitting on.  She decided it was more important to go spend it on her boyfriend (no not my dad).  So guess what i got to say goodbye to?

Yep, the frame that i had set aside to start my scratch '89 Batmobile went straight to the scrap yard, as well as many other useful items.   We had to have the money, otherwise we would have lost the whole 40 acres.

Next weekend we are going to haul off 2 COMPLETE 429 Ford Big Block Engines, that were ran off propane all their life.  Nothings wrong with them, we just have no use for them, so to the scrap they go.   If anyone needs them, contact me, we will work out a decent deal.   Also, we are hauling off two Cummin's 350 small cam deisel engines, partially built, but covered up.   If this can benifit ANYONE out there, let me know before we throw away good parts.   Get ahold of me before May 9th.

Later!
