-bean, not much in Iver Johnson. The people that would have it is Numrich Corp. They have a HUGE replacement catalog, but they say that their on-line serviec is good too. Try e-gunparts.com They should have anything ever made. Rod

didn't get much done on the gun this weekend. My wife is out of town for a few days with work so I'm working on the house to try and surprise her, but I did get the rest of the materials for the gun.
I found an aluminum place that looked like nothing but a ranch house from the front but when I went around back there was a huge shop of a good 100K square feet packed with aluminum of all sorts and various aluminum all over the place around it. It was awesome.
There was a big table outside with hundreds of pieces of scrap round stock that looked like wheel bat blanks to me
That big one on the ground was about 14" in diameter and 10' long. Of course I had the focus wrong on my phone

I was able to do a little more work on the gun today. I built the barrel support. Once I was half way through drilling the holes for the screws I realized that the support will never need to be taken apart there so I epoxied it and screwed it together permanent, I'll finish over them so you wont know the screws are there.
I want to do more today but I need a tool that is at my job site right now so I'll have to wait
And I have to wait for the epoxy to set.
I did a test with another co2 pistol to see how well it will shoot that big cork and it shot it about 6 feet and that will be more than enough.
I love it when a project "necessitates" a new tool ie: that machinist vice. And yes my drill press is on the floor.
And finally my wife seemed to think this was something I needed

Oh and I picked up an aluminum tool case to use as a gun case. I'll paint it red and black with the diamonds from her outfit.
I want to cut the foam in the case to fit the gun and its parts so if anyone has experience makeing a hot wire I could use some instruction.
thanks

WOW. Chilebean!
Looks like you're pretty serious about this custom work...that's cool.
What you have so far looks great!
( Especially when you show it next to the comic book artwork...nice! )
Keep us updated!!

Thanks for the props tomstoyz
Heres an update for ya pman. Last thursday I was headed to work and found that someone had thrown a rock through the little rear side window on my extended cab truck, that was $150. And I figured while I was spending money on it I would change the heater core that had gone out. after 4 hours and about 300 screws I had the SOB out. oh its a 98' F-150
I hate working on newer cars!

Heres a real update This is a mock up of where I'm at. That white piece on that back doesn't line up and I thought it would just have to be that way, but now that I'm looking at the pictures I see how I can fix it. I'll have to redo that piece and that support block it screws to. Thats ok, that block is no good anyhow, you can see that the bar that screws into that rear block and runs thought the cylinder and barrel is not paralell with the bottom support. And thusly the barrel and cylinder don't fit well.

Heres all the big parts so far. Once I have those fitting nicely I'll start on making the cylinder click and hold when its rotated and some tubing thought the cylinder so the air can pass though and eject the cork.
