WOW, you have no idea how happy i was to get such an excited, and positive comment!! First off i want to thank you for that ^_^. Its comments like that, that push me to keep striving to complete this project. As far as the car i would be more than happy to run off copies once i finish the molds. Same as for the molds once i finish the plug. This is the first time i have EVER attempted anything like this, i have no previous history of making molds, working fiberglass, or building things from scratch. But i have always enjoyed building, and drawing, so i decided i would mate the two in this project. and so far i am very happy with the results. But getting back to your question i would more than delighted to send you a body after this is all said and done (given that i am ever able to finish this project) , all because you left that great comment. I would have already been done, but money's tight, im sure everyone around here can agree with that experience.

No problem brother, youre project deserves some praise! In fact, I get paid next Friday and I am even willing to donate one of two things to your project. 1.) Either purchasing some supplies you need for you and mailing them to you or 2.) I would mail you a money order for 50$ dollars.
THAT is how awesome I think this project is! I dont have the talent to do a project like this from start to finish, but I will GLADLY and joyfully donate to help you finish it! I just wish I was rich!
Let me know what your thoughts are on me making a donation of one kind or another to your 89 Batmobile scaled replica!!
All the Best,
--Chuck

dude, that is by far the kindest thing i have heard in a while. I'm very apprieciative of the fact that you would be willing to donate money towards my project. But i must decline, i have this thing where as i feel bad when i take money-even as a gift- from people. i dont know why. I guess just somewhere in my mind i feel that im taking something that they themselves hard earned. I technically have the money to do work on it, but as you may have read in my post's in the past, we have alot of restoration projects in the works. AND the 72 camaro i own is now going to be pushed up its deadline due to my sister asking me out to her prom because she doesnt have anyone to take her . I kinda felt bad when she told me that. So, my wife and i thought on it, and we are going to ATTEMPT to get my camaro running good enough to take her to the prom. She owns a 1968 Camaro SS 396 all power options, and thats ALL she ever talks about, she is a gearhead just like me ^_^. So me and my wife feel that that would be the best thing to do, so thats where my money is going. And afterwords i have to had the keys over to my wife and let her drive it for a good while, that was the agreement (and before anyone says anything about handing an antique over to a woman driver, i assure you she is just as trustwourthy and safe a driver as I am, we dont abuse our antiques). But back to what was said, i GREATLY apprieciate the offer, but i must decline because my concious would eat me alive afterwords .

monstertrucker35 you should start a build log with your Camaro and your wifes truck. I would definitely like to see how you will mate the old with the new on the truck.

i thought about that chilebean, but i felt that it would be too far off the board to be posted on CLTC. . Technically its not me doing my wifes truck anyway, its my wife doing that project. I just do all the heavy lifting for her. Maybe in the "other build" logs one day. That is if no one else has rejections to it.

And i just want to say to Chilebean, Conrad, and BatmanFanChuck, you dont know how happy i am to get post on my build log, it got me so hyped up that i went home after work and the first thing i did was put a new layer of plaster of the backside of the batmobile, i was so hyped up, i told my wife what you said Chuck and she was like 'WOW' , and i wanted to keep building on it, but sadly i had to wait until today for the plaster to fully dry , oh well, i took the rest of the day and changed heater cores on our vehicles, in the rain, in 50 degree weather just to get that "mode" out of me. THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS! I OWE YOU ONE!

I doubt anyone would have a problem with you starting build logs of your cars. Your wife should do a log. I didn't realize you were going to mold your 89" model. You could make it an RC car

Yeah, what im building right now on the 89 is just something to build the molds off of, this is the first time i have ever attempted anything like this, so i dont expect it to turn out perfect. I thought about making an RC car out of it, but temtation got the best of me after Jack said it would be cool to make a coffee table display out of, so i plan on building the car up peice for peice identical of the movie car (stretched frame, big tires, 350 engine, complete interior, etc) all from what photo's i have seen of the original here at CLTC. Maybe i will make an RC car version in the future, who knows.
