I was able to get some work done to the '89. My son has been hounding me to cut the wings in, and the windshield, so i roughed those in. I also added the little round window at the rear, and outlined the sliding canopy. So far so good.

I got to scribe some body lines, these are being done with a straight edge, and flat head screwdriver for consistency. The curves are unguided, so i panic while I'm digging those out.
I also got to do the side vents on the rear fender, they need a lot of straightening, and cleanup, but I'm overall satisfied. I recall while working on Big Wave Dave's '89 how much I hated working on those side vents, as there was a lot of surface area to clean up, and I gotta say, in miniature, it gets no better! Hah!
And lastly, I did some work to the round side intake, to give that "double edge" look. Its raining today, luckily I've got a shed to work in, so I'm off to do some more grinding on this creation of mine.

Got the gun doors scribed, and I'm working on cleaning up the disc doors and speaker panel.

Bad ass!!!
The Highest Of Distinctions Is Service To Others
If you can contribute to others, no matter how small your talent, you too can become successful. The measure of anyone is the number of people that they serve.
Service to others is the essence of success. No one achieves success without being of service. All great men and women became successful because they gave some talent or ability in the service of others.

I think one thing that's really helping this project move along is that I'm no longer grunting over every small error on this build. I'm accepting the fact that I'm human, and there's gonna be mistakes, to just deal with it and stop being so OCD over it being absolutely perfect and indistinguishable from the original 89. I will have differences on this car from the original...and finally I'm ok with that. Haha!
