Been almost a month since my last update. Got a really good bit done and Ive many pictures of the progress. I'll post them in order of progress and hope they make sense.
As you can see I did some sketching on the body to see that the windows are gonna line up well. I'm satisfied
I marked off the area for the wheel well lip, but unfortunately didnt go as well as planned. I got distracted and the bondo dried over the tape and caused more work than I had hoped for. Ah well.
The car passes the stress test per my little helper.
I coated what I had done so far with a can of black primer to show low spots.
I see no stinkin' dip!
Then I took and continued sculpting, redesigning, adding, taking away, until it looked just right.
And this is the cars current state, I'm very satisfied with its turn out thus far.
I drew in the side vents, just to see how they would look.
Inner side of the wing.

Got this done today. The outside is symmetrical, the inside needs some work.

Just to show what a patient wife I am, and how much I am to be coveted among the members of this board, let me show you what I put up with:
When you open the closet door, you get hit with a wall of smell: bondo, plaster, spray paint, you name it.
But hey, it's worth it to get my '89 model back. I'll never forgive myself for allowing him to throw the first one away. Also, before he fusses at me, he did move the model to the living room wall, but since I don't have access to his wonderful watermark, I'll let him post that picture.
And since I have time, I'll throw in several old photos I've been meaning to share.
He's writing "Batman" with chalk...
Last year's Halloween costume...
Taking a walk to the library...
Eric's closet...
And me sporting my new knife!
As you can see, Batman does not consume our lives at all.
"I gave her a concentrated dose."

So what I think I am hearing from you here Kitten is ,you think Shaggy should quit his full time job and just devote himself to Batmobiles and Bat stuff.
I Totally agree.

I don't know about anybody else, but Shag's build is enticing me to start a scratch built model.
Very impressive.
Do I look like someone with a plan? 0_o
