T-Man...those yellow shocks are the front shocks for a Yamaha Blaster. I bought an identical pair off ebay for 30bucks less shipping. They're 15" long.

Thanks Shagg and Dave. I learned so much from both of you and have alot to thank you for. I learn from this entire site. I'll have to think of a new name for the thread or start a new one...but right now I have the rest of my tubing to finish. will post tonight when completed.

Thanks again!!

Oh yeah Dave....I did think about the middle sleeve for the shock bolt. I may do something like the original.

Hey Conrad, another random thought here. The Rumbler is 7 inches from the bottom of the chassis to the ground. I believe you said yours was 9 1/2 inches. After you have driven it around you might consider cutting half a loop off the shocks to lower the ride hieght and stiffen the suspension. By having your Tumbler lower by an inch or two the handling should dramatically improve. With the two shocks the springs might be too stiff. You could remove one shock and see how that feels. If the ride is better you might consider getting a couple coils with a lower rating. I would love to be there trying to tune the chassis with you. Give us an idea of how the Tumbler handles....This is getting interesting....hehehe....BWD

Conrad, the roll cage looks great, but I think the back looks kind of high. Whats good about your kart, you do have the length when you put the body panels in place. But the side pic of the kart is throwing me off. I am having that problem with mine. My kart is too tall and the the wheel base is too short. I guess when you put the rear end in place I will get the full picture. Overall the front and the cage is awesome!! Terry

Conrad, I would take a shot at doin your own thing, more or less. Make a tumbler version 2, as if you were designing a new tumbler for Nolan's 3rd installment. Copying verbatim has it's points, but I often yern for doing something more my own.
