So anything I'm forgetting before I drive this thing? (maybe a harness..)I spent all of Saturday and today workin on this and I wish i could keep goin tomorow...but the work week begins. From this in September
To this today. Not done by far cause I have the whole rear and roll cage coming up...but it's good to see progress. I'm feeling it too.
And now I think this thing is finally ready for a test drive! One day this week will post a video following T-Mans Lead!

Ok conrad here is a blast of info... 1. be shure to push it around befor you start it ....in the lawn, on the street so you know of the steering radious...I pushed crystal and the kids around the apartment complex the day before I did the first video. .....IT WILL BE HEAVY 2. make shure your seat is realy secure for side to side movement. 3.if you can get some one to sit on it and you push them down the street and when you get up to a good speed tell them to put on the breaks ...soft at first and them do it again for a fast stop, chances are you,ll have to readjust them for all the weight. 4. after starting it and your driving (slow) watch that the tires dont collide with the arms when you turn....and watch the street 5. when going fast....be vary watchfull of the arms and tires, if they start to woball (sp) or bounce that means eather two things ...1: the design wont alow you to go that fast, or 2: the tires need to be balanced. My tires are not balanced, my break wont stop me, the steering sucks, I have no seat so I slide all over the thing.....WATCH OUT !!! HERE I COME ...aaaaaaaa I think thats everything ...above every thing make sure the break works. but any ways GREAT JOB ...oh one more thing , after you drive it around and mess with this or that to make it better keep in mind that your not done dont procrastinate, only when the paneling is on ..then you can and then find someone to paint it ...that will not be hard because when you show people what you have and what needs to be painted alot of people will be stepping up to be part of something like this.....beleave me, one more thing [ how easy is it to turne with that R&P when its sitting still?? ] I wana see that video

I can't really tell the difference between the R&P versus straight. It's still turns when I'm sitting still, turns a little easy then stiffens up quite a bit when the rods start to turn. I'd like to get it rolling and see then. Good ideas all around too thanks!

Hey Conrad that was very cool........I even got mentioned in your first video.....WOW. Hey that mini Tumbler can move and the braking looked real good. I would definitely look into turning brakes on these lighter vehicles. I think it would make a big difference and looking into that Ackerman angle. Oh I got to find my video camera.....hehehe...Your personality shines through, great job....Dave

WOW, GREAT JOB!!!! Conrad i was loving every second of it! Especially the brake screech at 6:40+/- as you re-entered the garage. I want to see more video REAL soon. I enjoy video much more than pictures, and i didnt think there was any way you could top pictures from builders on this site. I have been proven wrong.

That was great Conrad!! Looks like I am next to make a video. I love the front ends of you and T-man. I have a dead line on my build, so its not going to happen like your front in. But the pic Doo Hee posted on the tumbler running over the police could happen with me. Check my post today and tell me if my tires are too wide or rear is to wide. It was nice meeting you. Looking forward to see more video Conrad. Good Job!! Terry
