Well the R&P piece was just that....100 Bucks from Desertkarts.com. The used steering wheel, shaft, mount and linkage was 50 bucks from the glof kart place....which I'll be visiting more and more.
It's getting warmer!! (and now watch....A Super Nor'Easter will probably bring the cold and dump tons of snow!).

Conrad thats Awesome!!!! I am so happy that you found that place! Its amazing how much money can be saved when you buy used-but-good parts, rather than new, huh? I hope to see this bad boy doing circles in the back yard real soon!!!

Continued. Last night I got so upset about something that's been bothering me. I couldn't take thinking about work, home, money anymore so I went into my thereputic "cave" and began getting back to the important things. As shown earlier in my post, I widened my front arms. They were very solid before i cut them, but after cutting and widening, it looked weak. So I added the bracing i think that will get it back to strength. here they are fitted
Cutting these pieces took almost all night....sucks to not have the right tools. 2 hours of cutting and grinding 2 little 8 inch pieces could've been done right quick with the proper cutting. I only have a mita saw and handheld & bench grinder so straight cuts are easy but any crazy angles sucks the big one. I'll get what i need eventually for now it's work with what I got.

Conrad! Man i cant tell you how glad both I AND my wife are happy to see progress on your build. Gaps? i see no gaps, i think your doing an excellent job and i cant wait to see that thing moving on its own. Its always good to take a break from life and cool down in the "cave". You should do that more often, it seems to make more than just you happy around here .
Hope to see more real soon!
