Ha! yeah shagg..i definitely have to tidy up the place a bit! I want to re-do half the sheetrock, finish the ceiling and add more lighting. next year... well i went with bolting the plates on... 
Used lock nuts, bolt's are half inch. 4 bolts on the ends are smaller - i didn't want to put 2 large holes and weaken the 1" square tubes on the ends). I think this should hold well. 
...does it come in black?

Conrad, your front end is looking GREAT! I like the idea of making both arms move together on the 1/2 scale, makes everything cleaner in the front. Cant wait to see you start on the rear

Conrad, thanks for the link, those are pretty good prices. I will probably be starting my tumbler project in about 2 months. Doesn't hurt to get a head start.
