sizing up the front. 
So tomorrow (or today in my time), i will beginc clean up of my work area and prep for fitting and welding this weekend. goodnight!

the trailer axle is actually just a 1 1/2" round tube I stuck the hubs on for mock purposes only....i bought the hubs separately and intend to weld the round tube to two 1" stub axles <- those axles are made to fit the hubs.
...does it come in black?

| Yes....and thanks guys for the encouragement. started tack welding the front arms and plates. good thing because i had to adjust the arms later. here's how the arms looked at first 
and the plates 
...does it come in black?

| if you look at the arms in the previous picture, on each arm the top 2 forks that the axle goes through are about 6 - 7 inches apart - that's what i originally intended. but when i mounted those HUGE hubs and the cut down axle stub, they both came into the plates pretty far. 
The top forks are cut for the 1 1/2" tube and not the 1" axle. Yeah I could have gotten smaller huibs...but I move forward with what i have and continue on.
...does it come in black?
