i am positive that the v6 buick engine is much MUCH smaller than the big block V8, i just saw a 396 big block up close out of the car for the first time last saturday and it was HUGE! on a rough estimate tho, compared to the 60 degree v6, a big block looks about 6 inches wider on both sides of the engine, 12 inches longer from water pump to water pump, and about 10 inches taller, but thats just a rough estimate, ill have to reffer to my power magazines for exact measurements (which i do not have on me at this time). Honestly tho, from what ive seen of your pictures, i think you could POSSIBLY stuff a 350 down in it if you plan on running it like the origional. (engine facing backwards with the tranny inside the cockpit interior) shagg

I'm considering that, but the V6 Turbo is attractive.

lol, well then there you go, im more of a supercharger kinda guy (no hassle of intercoloolers, and crapload of pipes, tho i do love the sound of a turbo winding up ) anywho, my saying is this, get what you want the first time, and be done with it, i used to have this problem (back in my younger-younger days) that i would by something just go get me by that would break, or not meet my needs, and then i would have to replace it, then i would go do it again-buy something just to get my by, and it would break again. So finally i learned to just get it right the first time, buy it once, and be done with it. Live as it was for me, was never the same .

Decisions, decisions. well I've got at LEAST 6 months to think about it while I fab my chassis. But you're SOOOO right. make the right choice the FIRST time.
I've been working on getting the angles and bends of the tubing just right. drawing and thinking. I know what tubing to use now and about how much I'll need. I'm planning on getting a bender and notcher and looking into Tube bending software. My wood model keeps staring at me and saying "wider....lower...". And I'm listening.

Oh Conrad, I wanted to make a correction I intially ordered 300' of tubing but I had to buy an additional 60' to finish the chassis. BWD

Copy that BWD...My lengths are not exact and I may need less than initially thought but more is better.
Strider, or whoever the Webmaster is: it's weird but seeing the watermark on my Pictures really makes me feel great. I'm official. I'm legit. I'm proud.
I believe in CLTC.

Hey, that's great! Thanks! Very inspiring. One thing though Doo....the color drawing of the engine with the hand written parts description is not my handy work. I believe Rusty provided that...don't want credit where it's not due and no disrespect to the great Rusty...or whoever the true author/artist is.
Again, Thanks and I can't wait to have more pics for the site!!
