That's nothing.... Now that the ball is rolling again, you will see some MAJOR work done in this next month. You can see it all finally coming together!
I love how Doug put the curve back into the hood section, starting at the grills.

So Justin are you saying that the cuve of the hood extends the same all the way to the canopy? My body is so distorted I didnt realize that's how it was suppose to be. So the line down the hood remains straight. Are you going to get your body from Doug? Looks like that body is coming out straight......BWD

Yes, my body is coming from Doug. But mine is not the one seen pictured - in fact, this one may end up so heavy with bondo from cutting it apart and re-attaching the pieces that it is not used by anyone - just a buck.
PS - my grandpa is getting his truck back this Friday (he was in an accident and didn't have his truck for two weeks). This means I can finally borrow it and make my way up north!!
As for the lines - I am not terribly familiar with all the minute details. I let smarter people than myself dissect all the facts and figures. I DO know it is supposed to curve, which a lot of kits do not. I am sure Jack could spread a little more light on the situation?

Hey Justin that frame is set up to be a four seater or maybe a two-seater with a hidden seat. Are you planning on doing either? BWD

Dave - the frame you see underneath that body is not meant to be permanent. It is simply meant to support the body and hold its shape while body work is being done, and eventually while it is molded. I LIKE the idea of a back seat, though... Maybe like a fold down seat in an extended cab pickup?

big wave dave (1/23/2008) Hey Justin that frame is set up to be a four seater or maybe a two-seater with a hidden seat.
The frame you are looking at is merely the support frame for the body, to keep it square while work is done. The body will ultimately be molded, the molds will be reinforced, and THEN the body will be mounted on a frame when it is pulled from the molds. But yes, I HAVE considered a hidden seat option....

Hey Justin did you ever see that hidden seat batmobile? I think it had a second steering wheel, brake and gas pedal...Any plans on coming up? BWD
