well I'm back!! Tony & George are watching me? that's great!! hope they like what they see. I will have the molds finished this week, then I'll get them all cleaned and trimmed and get ya some pix!! The response to this new kit is amazing, people do really like that car. I didn't know if there would be much interest but thought it was worth a shot. The way the molds were made is the body is one piece with an inner hood & trunk channel, I even removed the winsheild and got the pinch welds in the molds. then we molded the door ends & qtr ends with the rocker panel. then made a hood & truck lid skin. so it's a complete kit that can be built on a lincoln or framed out like a batmobile. over the lincoln would be way easier!! I'll post pix soon. thanks for your interest.

Hey Jim!....Welcome Back!! Tony and George have been a part of this from the start, they are the ones who gave me the original build photos. The first they heard I was actually serious about attempting a replica CAR build, they offered all kinds of assistance with photos, stories, names of past builders, etc....so yeah, I know how psyched they are about all this! It was also them who suggested Anthony get involved because of the intensity of the build. When Jill and I went down to Garden City for the Cradle show, you could tell George was very happy to have another of his creations on display. Tony is a very good friend of mine, so any excuse to see him is great!

But seeing THE CAR at this stage is really the greatest thing....never thought it would happen. Thanks to Jim, now anyone who loves this car will be able to attain one easily. And please do post some pics of the new kit, can't wait to see it! I am eager to see what Greg comes up with when his CAR comes together.....See ya soon, Jim

I don't know about you, but I also can't wait to see what Dennis Braid is doing. If he actually decides to build a screen accurate one, that would be very interesting to see. I wonder if he would be willing to let Jim mold that car if he did go through with it...

Hey, I managed to print out the 3D version of The Car I've been working on today during a free period.

Looking at it, I think the bumpers need work. They're too skinny and round. I still need to finish the back end and other details.

Painstakingly composed in front of a live audience.

Yeah, I too can't wait to see if Dennis is gonna do something....I'm not sure he has seen the latest pic of Anthony's car, maybe I'll send him some pics! I'm fairly positive he wouldn't let anyone copy his work....he doesn't even like talking about it. Real nice guy, but didn't want to share too much.

for some reason, I can't see the picture...can ya email it to me? lincolnmrk66@aol.com

Thanks!!

Yeah, judging by your interview, that's an understatement.

I couldn't upload the picture to photobucket so I made it an attachment to the post. IDK if you realized that or not but I'll send you an email.

I finally got a look at your 3D CAR, Matt.....very cool! Will this be animated, or pics only? Either way, I love it! I suppose minor details could be tweaked, but I am by no means a computer expert or a graphic designer....I like it the way it is, looks evil even as a graphic image!! Thanks for posting. Once I get my MySpace page and Facebook page updated, would you mind if I added this?

Now .. That .. Looks .. Cool.  Nice Job. I forgot to ask, whats the inside going to be ? I have an idea how about Black suade with chrome. I was thinking black leather but that seems to be to common.

Thanks, Tman....Anthony built this car as an homage to stuntman Everett Creachs' stunt/camera car. It's a stripped interior; one racing driver seat, racing wheel, roll cage & camera set-up in passenger area. My fiberglass replica will have a full black leather interior. Here's a video link to the show at the Cradle of Aviation in Garden City, NY;
