Sounds like a great idea.  There is going to be one in just 2 weeks.  In LA!!!

Nate, Justin, Jack, and Dan are all signed up as of right now.  Okay really I'm going on vacation and I just happen to be going where they all live.  So meet us there.    But I plan on see at least 6 Batmobiles while I am there.

But really great idea.

I really hope to have time to hit Mark's shop but it's not looking good right now.  So much we want to see.

I have set it up with Mark about 4 times since CLTC went live. He makes an open invitation on the board and looks like he is trying to be cool with me, but then never follows through. I am sure many people here have seen some of the public invites. I would love to see his shop, though.

Sorry but if I go you can count yourself out.   I'm not big or bad enough to pull you two apart.  Heck I guess while you were dueling I could take off in a 66.

So any word about the club outing?  Shoot me a pm.  Now I got to get back to the garage.  Yep I took off 3 weeks.  1 week for the GA, one for Thomas' birthday and family visit and one week for the Cali trip.  I should have taken off the entire month so I could rest.

Dang it derailed!!!  Start a new thread!

I hope you dont mind my asking, but this whole 1/8th, 1/6th, 1/4th, 89 Batmobile replica got me to thinking....

I was wondering if I could be involved in this project (or one of the scaled replica projects) and I would be willing to mold them, make molds, and make sure that everyone who wants one of the 89 Batmobile gets a mold. (not sure if I am using the best terminology by the way, maybe I mean "shell" and not mold! LOL)

Anyway I just really wanted to be involved in one of these replica projects and I thought that this would be a good chance for me to learn something about molding and all that and yet have fun.

Just wanted to see what you thought about my idea. Either way, I just wanted to try.

God Bless,

Yep I am so vey excited and sad at the same time. I hate to see RJ get rid of her and not finish it but I am so glad that he has decided to put her in my home. I have watched RJ build process over the years just waiting for the day it would be finished. I think Tim and I both have gone nuts over RJs build and have talked about it a lot over the years. I just had to get it. I was afraid that it would get out to someone we don't know and vanish forever.

Thanks RJ.
