| 95 is having last mech. hookups, prior to paint, am installing windows on the tumbler. Had to break it all down just for that. Not fun.

I did my windshield like the real cars, I drilled the holes about 3" apart and counter sunk each hole a little deeper than flush so the heads could be glassed over. I used stainless steel hardware with self locking nuts, so the screws wouldn't rust over. After all the holes were made I drilled the Lexan using a special bit that doesn't crack the glass. Starting from the center section working outward I drilled out each hole and used Clecos to hold the glass in place. Once all the holes were drilled out I removed the glass and deburred each hole to remove the excess Lexan. I used a thick rubber camper shell gasket between the canopy and glass to seal and give it the offset needed. Once everything was screwed in place I glassed over the screw heads to make everything look flush. I am looking into making a curved glass from the guy that makes our curved 66 windscreens.

Kevin do you have pictures that shows that is how the real cars were done? The pictures I posted look like it was done differently. See above pictures of the OnStar cars.

| My spacing is a little closer and I used locking nuts with smaller washers, but it is basicly the same. My info came from Eric who sat in the #1 car and shot interior pictures.

Can you get him to share those pictures because it sure looks like it's done differently. The promotion replicas like Mr. Moore's do seem to be done with the bolt and nut idea. You can see the nuts on the inside of the windows on those cars. That's the way I did mine too but after looking more closely ath the pictures I think that the real cars were done the other way screwed from the inside.

| There were different canopies used for different shots depending on the sequence, some were clear, tinted or darkened glass. In the photos the canopy and glass doesn’t match the real cars. It is my understanding that the interior shots were made with the cockpit car in Tenn. 
No match!

| I get that but even in the top picture it screws from the inside not nuts on countersunk bolts (like ours). What #1 Car is Eric talking about? Didn't we decide that Dave photographed the #1 and #2 cars? They look like screws to me. I guess I'm just going to have to ask for proof?
