Okay, come on that's enough with the teasing.  I think it's time for a few more pictures even if they are close ups...

Moving stuff around so I can get most of the car in one shot. So far I can get like from front tires to the begining of the rear tires, and that was by backing into the doorway somewhat with the camera. Now I'm gettin' the suit done, and I wanna get the suit in with the next car pic..

That car is probably a lot bigger in person than one would expect.

It's really weird. In some ways it seems huge, in other ways not that big. It fills lottsa space if you were to build a tight retangle around it, but not bulky. I get so used to seeing the 44" inch. super S's that they don't seem big anymore, other tires seem small. Big thing about all the movie Batrides is that for all the enourmous body mass, you'd think there'd be way more passenger room than what you ultimately end up with. AND more visibility, but no. Worst visability may go to the tumbler. looking out over/through the legs, and center piece, and blinders you feel like you might as well be driving this through a peep hole. Of all the movie cars this one has the longest wheel base.

   working on it.

Forget taking pics in the garage, get that thing outside and let it breathe!  Then take copius amounts of video of you driving it around.    I've always wanted to see what those tires would look like doing a burnout.

*edited for typo

New updates are being worked on as we speak. This time it's gona be big. Bob C. is coming over. (2.5 hr drive for us to get together). He's gona help with pics, and be in them. This time it's full length shots. I had to do a bit of work just to get to do that(moving stuff). To do a straight profile from tire to tire I have to open the oven and place the camera right against the inside wall. A 3/4 shot, I have to step inside the laundry room about a foot. A front shot, and I have to open the garage door and freeze. The car is huge. About as long as the 89, but a longer wheel base. Right now I'm finishing the rudder arms(goldish things mounted to the blast shield) and getting them mounted, today actually. That was tough. Every time I get to another part I'm hoping it will be easier, but then it never is. Have been doing lots of checking and re-checking for acuracy, and as far as I can tell this is extremly accurate. even small stuff like the perf metal in the lower air intakes. Am extremly excited about this project. Haven't got the engine yet, but I'm thinking I will go with a new edelbrock since we have a major dist. (Lane automotive) 15 min. from my house.

Sometimes I can't believe how well this thing is turning out, I really didn't expect it to be this good. Still, a HUGE HUGE project. The results are what energizes me to keep going.

Wanted to ask jack if he recognized the gun barrel that comes out of the gun bay area in between the front tires as anything real. I know nothing of gunns. I can make that piece easy enough, but it would be cool to use as much real stuff as I can.

    pics are coming.
