Update. Some new developments since I got my shell....
Scratch the old donor cause I got a new one (easier to get road legal). My attempt at an 89 will be somewhat different in quite a few ways cause I'm now using this as a donor....
I'm keeping the canopy area so this one will have a glass windscreen, side windows, washer and wipers too 
Also gonna have doors 
I'll keep ya posted as the story unfolds.

A, I am so happy for you nice job that will be the cutest around.
I would love to see this thing with a canopy. Are you going to have shaggy draw you up one ?

Where did ya find that photo of me 
Been searching for Centerline's on a four bolt pattern to fit (4 x 100mm). They are close to impossible to find in the UK, but I once thought that about the 89 Build team. Don't mind a 14 or 15" rim, but I might have to go with getting adapters made and see what is around. I might have issues if I use spacers/adapters to pass the extended road test required and I don't think I can re-drill the bolt holes cause the PCD is so small already.
Good news is some rims with the correct backspace will give me the stance I want.
Just gotta find centerline auto-drags
BTW: Remember the idea of a Poormans Bat for less than $10,000?
