Found some rims for the front wheels... in the USA

14 x 7" on a 4x 100mm or 4x 4" bolt pattern. Honestly, Centerline Auto Drag is bad enough, but on this bolt pattern in Europe is near impossible

Batmobile

Cost me more than what I paid for them, for the shipping and Customs charges (when Customs release them for delivery - 9 days in UK and counting).

Still, gonna be perfect for the Mini-Bat.

Now I need 195/55 x 14 tires to go on them

Mr. A, with that mini bat being made will that make it to where you have a full size, mini and a battery powered like the one in the photo of the woman sitting on?

Seems I have a bat in my belfry

No James, the plan is to essentially cut up the shell into quarters and add in fiberglass where needed. This needs a stretch of 3' in length and 20" wider? I will have some tinkering to do in order to get the fit I want. Some areas will be re-modeled to get the 89 look too.

The vehicle underneath the shell will be a Mazda MX 5/Miata and the windscreen, wipers, side windows and doors will stay almost as they are.

Basically giving the Mazda a Bat-face lift

This way for me, I can re-register it for the road in UK/Europe and use it as a daily driver

BTW: Final dimensions will be something like 15' long and 7' 6" wide at the rear. Oh, the engine is whats already there..... a 1.8i.

It should be around the same size as a large UK estate car....but much lower stance

Sorry James, I just re-read your post. I do not have a full size - too impractical to drive in my part of the world and I could never afford it either. This is the only 89 tribute I am planning to have (aside from the toys).

Is it going to be a one seater? If not, will this be the first 1989 batmobile with right side driver seat?

Two seats and definitely a right hand driver

BTW: I picked up my new front rims tonight - hoping to get tyres on them tomorrow. Most expensive wheels ever
