Even better but as long as Kevin is okay about the slot not being cut out and the track riding on the hood then there is no reason to post it. Rusty is the victor by default. This picture of the #1 car clearly shows that the center support doesn't ride on the top of the hood but below it. As you look aft you can see that the hood is cut. Now; is there a car that the canopy rides on top of the hood? There probably is, but it isn't the #1 car the photo clearly shows that it does not.

Are you talking about the center bar, not sure how they did it. I welded a plate to the support and then glassed it into the front canopy. Also if you look at the edges of the canopy which people call a lip, it is only the thickness of the fiberglass around the plexi.
