Hi there C and welcome to the site. Thanks for posting.... any help with any stories, details and of course pics would be great. As Nitro said, we are all great fans of your dad's work with the Batmobile. He is one talented man

I did try the address on his website a good while back.... even tried to track him down over the net too. Never got very far with that.

We always felt that your Father had a hand in what the final car turned out like, is that the case? We know both him and Eddie sculpted the 'buck' out of foam and a guy called John did the fibreglass work. It would be good if your dad would post some info on this site (maybe with your help?). Oh and PIC's would be good too

Hi Lovell and welcome to the forum. Your brother-in-law did a fantastic job on the fibreglass work during the build. I believe the car body was molded from a foam 'buck' and was made from Kevlar? Is that the case?

If you can post the pic's you speak of that would be most appreciated, I don't think I have ever seen them.

Also you spoke of plans? Do you mean blueprints of the 89?

I have a copy of plans drawn up in 1991 - of the 1992 'Returns' car, but that sounds like it's different to yours.

Any posts with stories, facts, info and pic's are very much what we are about. I would have loved to have managed to get an autographed pic of John with the car, for my collection. I was sad when Andy Smith informed us of his passing some time back.

Thanks again for your post.

Had a very short conversation with Keith's widow Jennifer, this morning. Sadly Keith passed in 2020.

Link to his obituary in the Guardian newspaper.
